As a photographer, I spent two very curious years trying to find the exact atmospheric phenomena that could be attributed to the bending of distant, otherwise hidden landmarks upward into view, but alas my searches were futile. We can see much further than we should on this supposed 8“/mile, squared sphere (or “pear“ if you're Neil deGrasse). Absolutely nobody can prove “curvature“ and the only photos/video that attempt to prove this supposed curvature are nothing more than either a cause of your limited field of view, or common atmospheric phenomena which can obscure distant objects. Even choppy water in the distance can obscure boats. That is not curvature. Laser tests over calm water, on clear nights show that the globe curvature is non-existent. Infrared video can see even further because the atmosphere reflects a different part of the visual spectrum than IR sees. “Atmospheric refraction“ is given credit for this whole “flattening“ phenomena, but can anyone prove the curve? Why does mainstream media/science seem to be running from what is an extremely cool “trick“ of nature - if that's all it were, and why are we not seeing amazing Planet Earth-esque cinematography of this subject on the Discovery Channel or something? There is so much garbage TV and many people are now thinking the earth is flat, you'd think it'd be profitable, and beautiful. Science is not addressing the “flattening“ phenomena which is the flat earth linchpin. All we see from the mainstream media are personality attacks and ridicule, completely ignoring the actual visual phenomena which is - - we see too far. So I decided to buy a GoPro and a gimbal (Zhiyun Rider-M, with suction cup mount) to start recording flight-lapse videos when I traveled. I made sure the Hero5 was in “linear“ mode - an emulation of a rectilinear lens to not get any artificial curvature, and sure enough, the flights were flat and level the whole time. This video is not proof by itself, but along with literally everything other folks have found, it continues to build the case that the earth is flat. I made this video to share some thoughts and footage that would otherwise probably just remain on hard drives and never be seen. I also included a lot of other clips that maybe help illustrate the point. CALLING ALL CURIOUS-EARTHER PILOTS! If you’ve stumbled across this video, I would love to encourage you to buy a GoPro Hero5 or 6, and a small gimbal. We need rectilinear forward-facing night flight-lapse videos! Hardly any exist, and they can not only turn out beautiful, but they can also help tell us more about mama earth. Set the GoPro to NightLapse mode, make sure it’s set to “Linear” jpg, and capture 2fps. You guys and gals have a very unique view of the world, and I know with about $700 and a little tech help, you could start capturing some amazing flight lapse videos. Hopefully nobody minds that I ripped off their video or music for this little “YouTube Conspiracy Video.“ I encourage everyone to rip this off and re-upload it if you want, but for my sake, only re-upload it in full 4K. Don't be sloppy. Enjoy this compilation of my video and many others' video to the song “Where is the Curve?“ by Chief Crow & the Flat Earthworms.
