Andrew Cuomo proposes Zohrans Law, takes aim at affordable housing

New York City mayoral hopeful Andrew Cuomo announced he will propose “Zohran's Law“ to prevent wealthy individuals from occupying affordable housing. In a post critical of his competitor, Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani, the former NY Governor alleges that individuals like Mamdani are “stealing affordable housing from the poor“ and pushing working-class New Yorkers out of their neighborhoods.
