Detail: Full set, quality improves after first song Venue: The Infamous Hamtramck House Flyer: While on tour in 1996, we had the pleasure of meeting the Boilermaker guys in San Diego and were supposed to play a show at Che Café. Unfortunately, a promoter mishap had us following a college reggae band sometime after midnight, and Boilermaker did not play. We were paid with a bag of oranges. Luckily a few weeks later we crossed paths with Boilermaker again in the mid-west and played a couple of shows together. They were amazing. I filmed this set in a dark basement with about 20 people in attendance. -- Boilermaker is a band that’s been in heavy rotation in my life for 20 years. To the uninitiated, I’ve often described them as the best band you’ll never hear of.
