This is a poem called “Dumy Moyi“ or “My Thoughts“ by Ukrainian writer Taras Shevchenko. The poem was first published in his work entitled “The Kobzar“ in 1840. Ukrainian music group used the poem as lyrics to the song in this clip. The visual text comes from the movie entitled “Sorochinskaya Yarmarka“ (2004) which was adapted from Russian writer, poet, dramatist, Nikolai Gogol’s story “Sorochinskaya Yarmarka“ or “Sorochintsi Fair.“
