Titles read: “Sportshots (No. 7) - Popular sports and sportsmen under the cine-camera lens. “Rock Climbing“ - With explanatory commentary by Charles Eade - Sports Editor, Sunday Express.“ Various shots of men hiking and climbing up mountains in the Swiss Alps. At the top they look out at the view. We then see three men climbing up the side of a mountain at Cheddar Gorge. Brief view of the road below - it is very high! The men stop for some lunchtime sandwiches, then carry on to the top, using ropes to get to the higher crags of the mountain. One of the men standing on an isolated crag is thrown a rope; he ties it around the crag, then pulls himself along the rope to the next crag where his companions are. Several shots of one of the men abseiling down the rock face. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
