A classic Dr. Seuss book that I used to read when I was a kid. I decided to take the melody of the Jason Mraz song I'm Yours and use it for this book. Not the best performance but it's still a fun little book/song. Thank you to Мария Никитина for requesting the chords for this song. I’m sorry but I didn’t have time to write out the chords for the entire song, but it’s mostly the same so hopefully this will help. One other possible issue is that for my voice the key of A works the best. Unfortunately that means any ukulele players will need to play an E chord and if you’re a beginner it’s not the easiest chord to learn. One possible solution is to change the key of the song. Let me know if you folks need help with that I’ll I can post some resources. Good luck and have fun. Intro: A E F#m D A One apple up on top. E Two apples up on top. F#m Look you I can do it too. D Look see I can do three. Repeat that chord progression for most of the song until you get to the part where you sing the following: A And now see here. Eight, eight on top. E Eight apples up, not one will drop. F#m But I can do nine and hop and drink. D B You can not do this I think. After that it’s back to the normal progression that we started with until the very end when you do the yeah part: D E7 A Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
