A fascinating problem in the philosophy of language arose from Kripke’s interpretation of Wittgenstein’s Philosophical investigations. In this video I explain the problem through the offside rule in football, drawing on a particulary interesting incident on the 2010 FIFA World cup. Referenced books: Saul A.
