Such a thing came to me for the first time, it's very interesting for me to start working with it! Judging by the fact that the motto and the stamp were mechanically removed, there is no doubt that the dagger was a trophy of a Soviet soldier. Well, let's start the restoration. I want to say initially, I will work with my hands as much as possible without a power tool. My task is to clean carefully and, if possible, give a new look and also save the old. So, firstly, I disassembled the sheath and the dagger itself into parts. I used vinegar to clean the rust, and I used cleaning agents and warm water to clean the handle parts.
