Hi everyone! Today im sharing with you tips on how to do a 3/4shimmy.  0:15 Demonstration I begin with a demonstration of what it looks like, feel free to practice along before I break it down. Sometimes it helps to try a new move without thinking too hard about it. 0:30 First Drill: Hip Downs on the ball of the foot This drill is a good starting place to isolate the pelvis, and find your center of gravity despite having only one foot fully grounded. This is the warm up for the second drill.  1:27 Second Drill: Hip Downs balancing on one leg  This drill builds upon the first drill as now you are required to fully balance on one leg. This will train your body to find and stay in your center of gravity because if you unconsciously shift side to side you will lose balance. 3:06 Third Drill: Hip Downs Alternating feet This drill will teach you to maintain your center while moving from one foot to the other. 4:04 Break down of the 3/4 shimmy
