In this video you can learn 50 very common and useful Korean words with examples from many different Korean dramas. Note that Korean and English are very different languages and it is not always easy to directly translate the meaning or pronunciation of a Korean word. For example, in Korean the “L“ is often pronounced closer to an English rolling “R“. Also, when a Korean word starts with an “M“ as in for instance [moleugesseo], the “M“ is denasalized in Korean making it sound closer to an English “B“. It's comparable to saying “moleugesseo“ while pinching your nose or having a cold! Similarly, the “N“ at the beginning of Korean words often sounds closer to an English “D“, as in for instance [naeil].
