This Schoenner Vulkan (112/14 around 1905) with forward and reverse control is not often found. With this control, not only the direction of rotation but also the speed can be regulated. As is so often the case, the water level indicator on this machine was leaking. Although the steam engine has been in the collection for a long time, I have only now rectified this shortcoming.
