Jane is a very resilient woman, she grew up without her parents, she was rejected by her aunt who sent her to a very strict school, where she met her first friend, but who soon died of an illness, however, Jane continued her routine at Lowood Institution and got the basis of her knowledge. With this, Jane begins a new phase in her life, she writes an advertisement in the newspaper and is soon called to tutor a French girl at Thornfield Hall. Thornfield is practically a character apart, and very much reflects the self-image of the Lord of the house, Mr. Edward Rochester. Rochester has a mysterious, ironic and sometimes rude temper, he is very rich but screws up his life. However, he sees in Jane an innocent and sincere young woman.
