Heil Air Motion Transformers (AMTs - on home made stainless steel stands) crossing over at 800hz to my own design boundary woofers. Each woofer has it's own miniDSP PWR-ICE250 plate amp and a SEAS L26RO4Y drive unit handling from 800hz down. A single PWR-ICE250 handles the AMTs. The amp delays the AMT's until the sound from the boundary woofers catches up, giving the sensation that the sound is coming from a single speaker unit. Placing the woofers against the back wall minimises smearing from reflections, such as the floor and rear wall. The AMTs are open front and back so they live up to their 'sound clear as light' slogan. The whole lot is daisy-chained together by balanced digital cable (DH Labs Silver Sonic D-110). Source is a squeezebox Transporter. A PurePower 2000 mains regenerator powers everything and there's linear power supply for the miniDSP DDRC-22D, which contains DIRAC 3 room correction.
