A split conjured under the interference of the extraterrestrial unknown, this one was truly bound to happen, forming an alliance between the pioneer of the UFO BM cult, Ahulabrum, and one of the best bands to also do it nowadays, the american/french duo in Obscvrdrvgness, formed by the infamous Sterile, Rööfinöl, and here counting with Tksräa M. on guest drums. The Obscvrdrvgness side is one single 15 minute long track of formless Raw Black Metal mayhem. Very different from their past works, they are in here almost completely stripped out of the Punk-ish grooves that caracterized their earlier works, presenting their rawest and most chaotic output so far, with dissonant, intoxicating primitite Raw Black Metal, with demented vocalizations and ultra rustic drumming, alternated with parts of demented ambient that sounds like transmissions from far away eons. Ahulabrum has here its 6th release and 4th split seen Indrid Cold's long awaited return last year, and presents again what he does best. Maybe his release least rooted on Black Metal, as the first three tracks rely on blown out and ultra bizarre Black Ambient, with his characteristic, unique synth works and vocal layering as well the insane amount of unknown noises. The last two tracks are along his trademark, clipping, insanely saturated and ultra noisy Brenoritvrezorkre-inspired Raw Black Metal. Co-released on tape between Asylum Tenebris and Junkie and Proud.
