Macdonald In America With Roosevelt (1930)

Ramsay Macdonald walks into large elegant room and to the sound of the British national anthem ('God Save the Queen'). He is received by numerous dignitaries and officials (presumably members of Roosevelt's government) they stand up and applaud him. L/S's of Red Indians wearing large headdresses, they present Macdonald with gifts which he thanks them for. Macdonald is introduced to the audience by official. M/S Macdonald standing up and delivering a very long drawn out speech (at one point the man sitting next to him appears nod off !). He covers various topics including nationalism and his pride for his culture and economic laws. Several L/S's of audience seated at tables listening intently, some can be seen smoking cigarettes.
