Recording Assistant: Jimmy Lehner. WHAT I REMEMBER ABOUT THIS SONG: 1.) Long time friend Jimmy (Jims) Lehner of Tristeza visited us in San Francisco from San Diego to help engineer the recording. A Tristeza single was recorded at LTA SF as thanks. 2.) David Leonard who did the cover photos was a close friend from LA. He often did a stand up/spoken word set before announcing the Mondo Crescendo's live shows. He ran an art studio/music venue in LA called The Smell. His dad was Gary Leonard, the famous punk rock band photographer who released the book Make the Music Go Bang! 3.) This song was written in DC, recorded in SF and released when the band was living in LA. 4.) I ironed the front covers by hand to get the metallic appliques on. We spent so much money on art supplies for the cover we went over-budget. Mike Landucci / BBPTC said he couldn't afford to print the vinyl labels. Instead, I drew the song names, photocopied them onto sticker sheets and stuck them on the blank white vinyl labels by hand. Another 1000 first press release where my apartment was covered in album sleeves for a month.
