In September 1967 Dutch jazz pianist Rein de Graaff, on his first visit to , met Hank Mobley, Herbie Lewis and Walter Davis at the “East Village Inn“ on Avenue A. Six months later Hank Mobley came to Europe and did a radio and TV show in Holland.
