“Reverse Entropy“ is about a forgotten soldier who is summoned to an incorrect timeline. A right person at a wrong time can make ALL the difference. #sfm #halflife #sourcefilmmaker #cinematic #film #blender ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello everyone, I want to say a few words briefly. I am a film Director and Director of cinematographer(DP). This film, “Reverse Entropy,“ is my first 3D modeled animated film in my life. I had never worked with any 3D modeling or animation before, and creating this film,For a simple start, I chose SFM. Along with learning how to use S2FM, took me 22 days in studying how to use this software on YouTube, I simultaneously worked on making this film. If there are any shortcomings, please understand, Im new to this . During the 2020 pandemic, I experienced for the first time the importance of virtual creation and filming in the film industry. While isolated at home, I was constantly envisioning ways to continue creating using virtual methods. I also tried using software like Blender , but since I had no prior experience with any kind of 3D modeling, this idea was eventually set aside. However, recently I remembered this idea and decided to give it a try. The reason I chose S2FM is due to my understanding and love for “Half-Life: Alyx.“ The vast library of materials makes me more familiar with content related to the Source 2 engine compared to other software. There are some issues in the film that I want to address first, such as the weapon of the Combine Officer. I know he's not using the correct weapon, but since I am new to SFM, many things need to be explored gradually. Some issues I couldn't resolve, such as this bug where his weapon disappears at the edge of the frame, which greatly affected the viewing experience, so I changed his weapon. Additionally, I spent a some time considering the choice of the mysterious soldier in the film. Initially, I considered Gordon Freeman but eventually decided on Corporal Adrian Shephard, as “Opposing Force“ was a game I enjoyed a lot. It's a pity that Adrian has been forgotten until now, and I hope to see him again in the future. And I want to give my respect for the S2FM works of @TheParryGod and @VladislavZharkov. They made really stunning work. my respect. That's all for now. I hope you enjoy this work, and feel free to leave your comments. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Software: Source 2 Filmmaker HLA Workshop Tools Premiere Pro
