Clark Gillies reflects on his career on Long Island and his new life as a Buffalo Sabre in this intermission interview during the Isles-Sabres game on November 9, 1986. This was Clark's first game skating against the tough one for him to play and for many Isles rooters to watch. Long a fan favorite on the Island, “Jethro“ was one of the most well-rounded hockey players ever, capable of beating opponents with quick goals, deft assists, or when provoked, a hail of fists. He also had a stare that could make Chuck Norris cry. An affable guy away from the rink, it's still a little strange to see Clark in a Sabres jersey. But today you can find him in the Hall of Fame.
