POTAFLAM-50 - Medicine to relieve pain and reduce inflammation of acute and chronic rheumatoid arthritis, bone pain, ankylosing spondylitis Treatment of acute and chronic symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. The drug contains diclofenac pottasium which is indicated by acute and chronic symptoms of Rheumatoid arthritis (joint inflammation), osteoarthritis (joint disease caused by decreased joint function), and ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis of the back). The mechanism of action of this drug is Diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug derived from phenylalanic acid, having analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties. Thus inhibiting reversible cyclooxygenase-1 and 2, also inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins.
