Influenced by everything from Bonobo, Sufjan Stevens and Cinematic Orchestra to classical, jazz and the mercurial Brian Eno, French artist Jeremy Villecourt aka Croquet Club has become a cult label favourite over the past few years. Blending elements of ambient electronica, indie and dreamy deep house into a swirling sonic journey, “Awake“ marked a brilliant label debut from the French maestro back in 2013.
