At this time, they were both involved in an opera production with the great tenor Placido Domingo. Nick Ariondo accompanied Placido Domingo onstage in LA Opera's world premiere of Daniel Catan's “Il Postino“ and Israel Lozano sang the co-lead tenor role with Domingo in the Vienna, Austria production.
