Prior to the one of the major events in BMW Motorsport 2004 racing programme - Nürburgring 24 hours, the team takes the opportunity to commit a long-distance test at round #4 of the Nürburgring Langstreckenmeisterschaft in order to find both suitable and reliable car setup for the 24 hour race. BMW Motorsport works driver Hans-Joachim Stuck takes the BMW M3 GTR #683 into qualifying session before 3,5 hour race around famous Nürburgring-Nordschleife circuit. Hans puts all his incredible experience into a single lap, blasting through “Green Hell“ with full commitment. It’s worth to note that he broke a long-standing lap record in this qualifying session, having lapped the full track in 8:19:992 and unconditionally secured pole position for the 3,5 hour race.
