Here we demonstrate how to install a one-piece Picatinny Scope Base on a Remington 700 Short Action .308. The base used is a Weaver Tactical 20 MOA model. In this instance the rear bridge of the receiver was a bit low so we used JB Weld as a bedding compound to build it up. You can also use Marinetex, Devcon or other epoxy betting putties. This is “A“ way. Not “the“ way. If you don’t agree with it, feel free to move on.
