Pamukkale, Turkey. Various shots show a man swimming in a hot mineral spring pool that has formed over a Roman villa ruined by an earthquake eighteen centuries ago. A woman sits on a rock in the pool and the man swims over to her. Several shots show the Cotton Cliffs of Turkey; big white bulbous rocks that cascade down the mountainside, broken by pools of spring water. Commentator explains how the cliffs were formed by earthquakes carrying a hard water mineral spring to the top of the cliff. Note: the man seen walking in L/Ss of the Cotton Cliffs is Colour Pictorial Editor Douglas Warth. Cuts exist - see separate record. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
