The weather was hot, and the forest climbs were dry. The rocky streams and valleys were very slippery. Riders had to complete a difficult 100km route. South African rider Wade Young won on his GASGAS bike, followed by Michael Walkner and Teo Kabakchiev. *Graham Jarvis’ Journey:* Graham Jarvis faced a problem halfway through the morning. He had a bent rear sprocket, which took almost an hour to fix.
