Using LM386 Op Amp, you can build a miniature audio power amp. It's easy and good for starters. It requires more than 3 volts. But I have powered it up with 9 volts and it worked great. It may generate distortion. It means the connections are not in good position, voltage is not filtered or the power supply is no supplying enough power.
