► Abud is one of the original beat heads from São Paulo / SP, a place where hip hop culture is infected in peoples’ dnas, since its the closest thing to a local folklore manifestation we got. A devoted golden era spirit whose creative ritual is vinyl-sampled, MPC-processed, and scratch-infused. He was born in breaks and raised in rhythm, largely fed by jazz and other styles of instrumental music. It’s only fitting that a cat with such a vast, varied sound pallet finds a music wise twin soul in a land far faraway from home.
