Sadistic Mika Band - Hot! Menu 1975 (Japan, Progressive Rock) A group of Tokyo was established guitarist and vocalist Kazuhiko Katoh - former member of the Folk Crusaders. Name - a parody of the “Plastic Ono Band“. The second major (and perhaps the first) member of the group was lead singer and part-time wife, Kazuhiko - (Sadistic) Mika Fukui (Katoh). Music - hard rock with Japanese motifs, as well as a touch of prog. Maybe that's why the plate was implemented in the UK on Harvest Records (which has always been aimed specifically at progressive). In 1975, Kato little family “broke on the way of life“, both left the group, which was then called The Sadistics. Mika later married a very famous British producer Chris Thomas, who has worked with The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Roxy Music, Badfinger, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Pulp and The Pretenders ... Kazuhiko also married - and began to write music for his second wife, Kazumi Yasui. Generally this group the best and most successful
