The flooding crisis in parts of southern Russia and neighbouring Kazakhstan shows little sign of abating. Melting snow has caused the Ural River to hit a new record-high two meters above it’s critical level. Authorities are urging the mass evacuation of residents in the Russian city of Orenburg. And a state of emergency's been imposed in eight of the 17 provinces in Kazakhstan. Al Jazeera's Paul Brennan reports.
