Howdy ya’ll. In today’s video we will look at the oldest photographs of Jerusalem, dated to 1855 through 1862. These images come to us by way of Francis Frith, one of the leading, yet most mysterious, photographers of the 19th century. We will see countless examples of seemingly buried, weathered, and ruined architecture. However, we will also see amazing instances of photography, showcasing buildings which simply appear to have stood the test of time.
