Game: Castlevania ReVamped Author: LV.4 GAMES Platform: PC Completed: March 10, 2024 Rules: Beat the game after collecting all items and cards with 100% map exploration and full bestiary completed, all while never dying once, and in under two hours. The developer's official trailer for the game can be found here, with a link to the download in the description of his video: This is a fan-made Castlevania game in the Metroidvania style that focuses heavily on the events of the first Castlevania for the NES, but in a much more expanded and modern manner. The game has four different rewards depending on how you complete the is awarded upon beating the game, one is awarded if you beat the game with 100% completion, one is awarded if you beat the game in under two hours, and one is awarded if you beat the game with 15% item collection or less. Since it's impossible to get all four rewards at once (you can't simultaneously finish the game with 100% completion as well as 15% completion or less), I decided to try and get three out of the four all in one video. The goal of this playthrough was to beat the game with 100% completion, all while staying under two hours. Since I wasn't sure exactly what that meant, I decided to go for item collection, all cards purchased, full map exploration, and the full bestiary revealed (meaning every enemy was located and defeated at least once). And you know what? Do it deathless! Highlights: 37 minutes, 15 seconds - Somehow I miscalculated the amount of money I'd need to buy all the cards. I bet it was because I forgot that it costs money to warp. This wasted some time. 1 hour, 25 minutes, 25 seconds - I had to take a quick break here so this also wasted some time. Shouldn't have consumed so much water. 1 hour, 37 minutes, 30 seconds - Well this is a magical place. Probably should have used that Bible to protect against the Rose Demon. 1 hour, 38 minutes, 20 seconds - This is satisfying for some reason. 1 hour, 42 minutes, 40 seconds - I realized that I left one item way back somewhere and had to backtrack for it. This lost me some time. 1 hour, 45 minutes, 26 seconds - One final review... LV.4 GAMES did a fantastic job here and I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the Metroidvania styled Castlevania games, or even the original NES game. Actually, even if you dislike the original or haven't played it, play this game! There's also the “15% or less“ ending and a boss rush to go for! “Castlevania ReVamped - 100% Sub Two Hours Deathless “
