The aquarium is 8' x 2' x 2'. Lighting is various LED's (white, red, blue, violet) and T5's (Fiji Purple and Blue Plus bulbs) all used in various combinations throughout the day to simulate dawn, high noon, dusk, etc. Blue LEDs at 10% are used as moonlight at night. Water drains into two filter socks in the sump which are replaced every 5 days or so. Reef octopus 250INT skimmer provides the remainder of the filtration. A double refugium (one with light, one without) mostly just serves as a temporary holding place for new or problematic fish. Tried growing caulerpa in there recently with no success. Internal flow provided by two Tunze pumps (6105 and 6255). Most rocks are threaded onto acrylic rods with bases for stability.
