Kharsali, also known as “Khushimath,“ is a beautiful hamlet in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi area. It reaches a dizzying height of 2,675 metres above sea level. Kharsali is a religiously significant hamlet since it is where Goddess Yamuna spends her winters. The goddess is moved here to be worshipped because the Yamunotri temple is inaccessible during the winter due to severe snowfall. One of the village's most notable attractions is India's oldest Shani Dev temple.
