Nasty Passion were a rock band originally formed by drummer Doug Beatty (D.J.) and guitarist Don McLean in 1985. They played in the late 80s-early 90s Baltimore/DC area before moving together in 1989 to Los Angeles. They subsequently played venues like Whisky A Go-Go, The Roxy Theatre, Gazzarri’s, The Troubadour, Coconut Teaszer, FM Station (Filthy McNasty’s - aka The Viper Room, the Red Light District and more. Their manager, Michael Marilyn, also managed Axl Rose's half-brother, Stuart Bailey's band, Dr. Whiskey. At their height, they were one of the most popular local bands on the Sunset Strip in LA. This is the fourth and final song of a demo cassette with singer Todd Marshall that has survived all these years. The sound quality is what you’d expect but gives you an idea of the band’s sound. They also didn’t have the chance to perfect it at the time, so not quite the final version they would have wanted. But you’ll get the idea. It’s a window into their place in the LA rock scene during tho
