The SR-71 is one bad ass airplane. This pattern isn't as bad ass but it's pretty simple and straight forward. SR Stands for Slim Rib. One of my personal patterns that I've been tying and using for a couple of years. Change the color of the thread to match insects as needed. Hook: Daiichi 1110, Size 18–26 Thread: Danville 6/0 (70 Denier) Body: Thread Rib: Hopper Juan's Slim Rib, Clear over Thread Head: Black Thread or colored with Marker.
