The Fogcutters were from Denver. Their sound was similar to that of The Beau Brummels They never made the national charts, but this record DID get heard by a national audience -- it was used in an episode of THE FUGITIVE TV series. IIRC, it was heard over a transistor radio as some teenage punks harass Dr. Richard Kimble. I can’t say for sure why this record was used, presumably because it was released on the Liberty label, which was owned by United Artists -- producers of THE FUGITIVE. The website gives some more info on The Fogcutters: “The Fogcutters recorded for Liberty Records and had one minor hit. They were a bubblegum band in Denver and left for Chicago where they played for six months as the opening act for Howlin’ Wolf in a club there. Their sound evolved into the Chicago Blues sound and when they came back to Denver, they had changed for the better. A great sound. They left Liberty Records and started recording for Verve Records but I lost
