In this video, I'm testing the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X vs the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D with the Nvidia RTX 4070 12GB in different games like Fortnite and Cyberpunk. The AMD Ryzen 7 5700X came out in 2022, it has 8 cores with 16 threads, the base frequency is and the turbo frequency is . The R7 5700X has a TDP of 105W and has a transistor size of 7 nm. The Nvidia RTX 4070 12GB came out in 2023, it has 12GB of GDDR6X memory with a memory speed of 21Gbps and a bandwith of 192 bits. It has 5888 cuda cores with a base speed of and a turbo frequency of . The Ryzen 5 3600 on the other hand costs ~$60,- less and still gives a pretty good performance for their value even with a high end gpu like the RTX 4070 and especially in 1440p, because then the GPU is mostly bottlenecking instead of the CPU, but the 1% and 0.1% lows with the Ryzen 7 5700X are still better.
