For falling blocks, this means landing; for parrots, it means sitting on its owner’s shoulder. The principle of parrot duplication is similar to sand duplication, both utilizing the residual tick of entities crossing dimensions. In simple terms, a duplicate entity is first created in the new dimension, then the entity in the old dimension is deleted. However, before deletion, some calculations can be made, such as sand landing or parrots sitting on shoulders. These operations can transfer the entity’s information to the non-entity state, thus achieving entity duplication. Parrots only check for shoulder sitting every 5gt, so the success rate of the device in the video is 20%. The duplicated parrots share the same UUID. The same dimension cannot load multiple entities with the same UUID at the same time, otherwise cause the entity losing. A way to preserve the same UUID entity is keep it in a vehicle. Even then, loading multiple entities with the same UUID at the same time will result in ghost entities. The same UUID entities can exist in different dimensions.
