The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new video from Ason Teva. “Chromajen” comes off the Israeli artist’s forthcoming EP, Bypass which is out this week on Confused Machines. Hebrew for “natural disaster“, Ason Teva is a new project by Tel Aviv-based producer Assaf Bloom, previously active within the duo Plazmot. A musician whose always sought out the points of interaction between popular and experimental forms, Bypass demonstrates his ability to find expression in both retro-esque and abstract electronics, utilizing condensed structures alongside left-field excursions. The result is a powerful release that traverses experimental, club forms and beyond for a strikingly current tale of a confused world. Bypass is out February 14th and you can pick it up now on Bandcamp.
