Ilya Morozov is a virtuoso soprano, alto saxophonist and flutist, has a deep rich timbre and powerful sound presentation. In December 2020, the sextet presented Russia’s first festive New Year’s Christmas album “Christmas Wish“, which included original versions of American and Russian famous New Year’s compositions in author’s arrangements. The album immediately entered the Europe Jazz Media Chart of the leading jazz publications in Europe and was highly appreciated by world renowned jazz critics.
