Yam (boiled & cut into diced) 250 gm. Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp Turmeric Powder ½ tsp Coriander Powder 1 tbsp Cumin Powder ½ tsp Oats powder ½ cup Coriander chopped 2 tbsp Black Pepper crushed 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp Cardamom Powder ¼ tsp Lemon Juice ½ no Salt to taste Bread Crumbs ½ cup Mint Sprig for garnish Method:- Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped ginger, chopped green chillies, yam and mix well. Sauté for 2 min. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and mix well. Sauté for 1 min. Add oats and mix well. Sauté for another 1 min. Remove in a bowl. Add chopped coriander, black pepper, garam masala powder, cardamom powder and lemon juice, Mash and mix well. Add salt and mix well. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into tikki. Coat each tikki with the bread crumbs and keep it aside. Heat a pan on medium flame and carefully place the Tikkis on it. Flip it and cook it for other side also. Now pour oil all over the tikki and cook from both side till crisp. Remove in a serving plate. Garnish with mint leaves and lemon wedges.
