In today’s exploration you are going come with me to the Deep South where we discovered an abandoned home that was once occupied by very well known mayor of rural town who once ran for U.S. congress but ultimately was unsuccessful. The woman who lived in this home with her husband ran a newspaper business together while the woman also served as mayor of the town as well played huge rolls in several democratic presidents campaigns like Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. She was always known for her radiant smile and positive energy that she had no matter the situation. She was known to be very intelligent and witty as well as a friend to all. Sadly around a decade ago she was diagnosed with cancer which ultimately took her life leaving her grieving husband alone. The man continued on with writing newspapers and books with his very last known story being about the home we are exploring today.
