The group are conformed of Latinos called D-Vell (Cuban), Pearl Pizzaz (Puerto Rican) and DJ Royal Tech (Colombian), the New York-based Mesanjarz of Funk released just one 1993 self-titled full-length, on Atlantic. Based around Jose Moronta and Donald Powells, the group found little success with a pair of singles, “Keep It Flowin'“ and “Funk in da Trunk.“ They appear in few video clips like Fat Joe - Flow Joe and Da Youngsta's - Iz U Wit Me Follow us here
