Hidden Violet Waterlily red pond lily, Randy McDonald hybrid

this is a red star shaped waterlily which is very unique. It has a small petal count giving it a distinct appearance and if you hold the flower sideways you can see an irridecent violet hue along the edge of the petals and sepals. The pads have a wide split at the lobes at about a 90 degree angle. We have not had many blooms in the two years we have been growing it but it is a distinct waterlily for sure.
