Be sure to turn on captions for English translation! ^.^ I decided to record the entirety of Deathless Hard Mode Run a week ago before continuing to upload my translation (I failed the run in the very end so the run will have one split in the end. Sorry, but I'm not this dedicated to losing my sanity for the sake of recording like that for a simple TRANSLATION of text within a bad game. I hope you can forgive me, my first walkthrough had far more splits than you can imagine and I won't hide it now). Sorry about that. === TIMESTAMPS: Radio Tower Stage, Section 1 - 0:00 Radio Tower Stage, Section 1.5, Yadokari - 1:51 Radio Tower Stage, Section 2 - 3:46 Confrontation! Zero and Debonion - 8:35 Confrontation! Axl and Debonion - 9:11 Boss! VS Tornado Debonion - 9:52 Axl Tells Zero That Red Alert Used Him - 14:18 === OK, let's talk about Radio Tower Stage now. The first section gave me some trouble since I really wanted “no damage run“ it. But I actually like the stage concept as a whole. We have to run away from RNG-depended attacks done by Yadokari - the Miniboss of this stage. The most annoying one in my opinion is his fireball attack which can be difficult to dodge. Once this section is done, we can fight Yadokari itself. I was constantly getting screwed by its blade attack because it was rarely going out of its shell for me to damage. I'm not even sure if blade spin is RNG-depended or not. But I had over 10 attempts where Yadokari was doing it non-stop. At least this attack won't be as dangerous if you have Axl on your team. The second section introduces new repliroid enemies that Axl can copy - Bounding. You don't need to copy them in order to progress, though. You'll just be able to quickly destroy the radar enemies and Batton Bones with their DNA - just stay still to activate the electric field around you. Also Boundings are quite fast so don't worry about not making the jumps across broken floors. Also Yoku Blocks return just for this stage. And one of them has the Heart-Tank inside of it so you'll have to fall down and go through this little section again. It doesn't help that Batton Bones spawn here - it's really difficult to go through this without getting hit. Tornado Debonion is a weird fella. He mispronounces some of the words consistantly and sometimes even uses katakana instead of hirigana for random words which is why translation looks like that. Luckily, I toned it down a bit since the previous attempt that mispronounced almost every single word that was coming out of his mount. He also had a really hard-to-translate pun about the face and onion skin so I just went for “there're many layers of the onion“ approach. He's an all-around easy boss, you don't even have to use his weakness. Gaea Shield will just keep him away for a time being (And it WON'T damage him for whatever reason), and Gokumonken will just speed this process up a bit for the first phase of the fight. Once the second starts, Gokumonken will become a bit more tricky to use, but it still can be a great help. I just wanted to play it safe and finish him off without getting hit. This time Axl tells Zero how Red asked him to hand DNA Data he copied over to him which his friend had never requested before. He was then being used for their nefarious goals since. Zero starts to get s bit sympathetic since this feeling is so similar to him... We'll make some sushi in the next episode.
