Hapkido is a Korean martial art that utilizes skillful joint manipulations to offset an opponents balance and use their momentum against them in self defense. The skills learnt include striking & kicking, throws, joint manipulation, takedowns, ground fighting, and traditional weapons. At the higher ranks and black belt levels, kyung mu kwan hapkido students also explore various counters and possible “holes“ when attempting to execute basic self defense technques as seen in this video.
