This is the first feature film in which Lynda Day & Christopher George starred together. During the production they fell in love and were married later in 1970. They became one of Hollywood's most popular real-life couples and a fan favorite. This film was shot in Brazil. Lynda Day, who was 22 years old at the time, plays Judy, a New York City girl who jets to Rio de Janeiro in order to forget her annulled marriage. There she meets Bill (Chris George) a brooding mute and an architect demoted to a draftsman. They fall in love but then.... This film was their first performance together but was also the first big screen picture for each of them. Chris George was new to acting and Lynda Day was at this time a model for the Ford Modeling Agency, as well as Eileen Ford's caretaker to the Ford children.
