Ethiopia And Kenya Complete 1,045 km Electricity Highway - Investment in Africa by country is at all-time high. Construction of the Ethiopia-Kenya transmission interconnection line has been completed and the facility is expected to be launched officially in June this year, enabling Kenya to venture into power trade business with its neighbor. This was made know by Energy Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter, who revealed the 1,045 km 500 Kilovolts line that was initially scheduled for completion in 2016 is now in its final stages of testing awaiting commissioning in two months’ time.
