Shanghai Qiutian - 1220 农民家 Version with Senza Quartet After the “Home:Revolution” tour the piano version tour ended, we created a theatre play with SLATE dance company that was based on our album. For that theatre play we collaborated with Senza String Quartet, which made our songs beautiful and suddenly we felt we were closer to Olafur Arnalds or some contemporary music composers which we feel connected too. The theatre play was a one day project, a huge effort that finished in less than two hours. After it ended, we felt that we wanted to keep that feeling for a little longer. That’s when we decided: “why we don’t invite them to come to our home in Zhujiajiao and we record the song live?” And that’s what we did, our living room suddenly became a NPR tiny desk concert and we had cameras and recording gear to make that instant forever. #shanghaiqiutian #上海秋天 #instrumental #strings #stringquartet #shqt #mathrock #china #asi
